Billing and Coding
SSMedtech's team of certified billers and coders has experience billing for various specialties. Over the years, we have billed for family and internal medicine pediatrics, physical therapy, hemotology-oncology, dentistry ophthalmology, orthopaedic, durable medical equipment, home health, pain management addiction medicine, psychiatry and urgent care. Our billing and coding services consists of entering and electronically submitting charges, posting insurance and patient payments, sending patient statements, insurance aging follow-up and printing monthly and yearly reports. Our fee is based most often on a percentage rate; however, flat-rate billing options are available for certain types of clients.
Insurance Credentialing
SSMedtech has a team that is dedicated to ensuring your credentialing gets completed successfully. If you're having trouble getting credentialed or just don't want to deal with the hassle yourself, our staff can help. SSMedtech's credentialing team is able to regularly track the status of any of your open applications and keep you updated. Our credentialing team also makes sure to keep you updated on any necessary re-credentialing.
Consultation
SSMedtech provides coding advice, reimbursement analysis, and advice on services that can be added to your practice. Our team of consultants can also provide assistance with insurance contract renegotiation's, staff training, staff pre-screening and office reorganizations. Other consultation services include sitting on software demos (EHR/PM), software training, fee schedule set up and form design.
Insurance Aging Follow - up
Although this service is offered along with our Billing and Coding service we also provide Insurance Aging Follow -up as an in-dependant service for customers who wish to keep their billing in-house, but need help with their out of control insurance aging.
